‘Nanage Atrupthi’ – I could not do Dr Rajakumar Memorial cultural event in my way. That is because of short notice. I had worked very well for ‘Ambi Sambrama’ – it was just 14 days time and I was seeing only Dr Rajakumar in my eyes for 20 days. I could not make it convincingly. On why everyone should participate in this kind of event – S Narayan says it is Dr Rajakumar, Aa na Kru, Balanna and others who made the road to our journey free of thorns. They made it no dubbing to Kannada in the 60’s and everyone in the Kannada cinema industry is living happily today. Today cinema industry is good only because of that.

On his love and affection to Dr Rajakuma – in my childhood I was collecting five paisa and ten paisa and setting up a star for Dr Rajakumar releases. I am such a fan of Dr Rajakumar. One has everything to learn from him.

On the stars participation – when Dr Ambarish has made ‘Adesha’ – the stars should be available on their own or they should pick our phone calls for such a celebration.

Dr Raj did not grow alone – This is exactly true. Dr Rajakumar did not grow along in his career. He has taken everyone along with him and made them to flourish to find a living.

For my food I should salute elders – S Narayan made another pertinent point that for every ‘Agulu’ he eats from cinema today it is because of ancestors who have made the path. I have become director because of Bhargava, Bhargava became director because of Hunsur Krishnamurthy. It spreads like this in the family tree of cinema industry.
